Minkels is expanding its factory in Veghel, the Netherlands! But what is happening right now?

- The factory is expanded with 3000 m2

- A complete, full automated powder coating line is being in-housed

- Automation and one-piece-flow processes are being implemented

The new factory will help provide a better and faster response (response time improvement of 30%) to rapid changes in demand from customers, who are looking for greater availability, diversity, flexibility and service. The lead time for producing and processing parts for racks and containment is also being reduced from 18 to 5 days. “The expansion is going according to plan. We expect to be operational in March 2019,“ says Derk Jan Buter, Manager Operations at Minkels. “With these improvements, we will be ready for the future!”
