Best in-rack airflow management
Our airflow management pack seals the space between the vertical mounting rails (VMRs) and the side panels; our solution will cover every possible gap in a 600 mm wide or an 800 mm wide cabinet. For 800 mm wide cabinets, the side skirts feature 12 cutouts to place different accessories and allow cable entry from front to rear.
Covering all possible leaking points
In addition to sealing the space between the VMRs and the side panels, our airflow management package also seals between the VMRs and the top and bottom of the cabinet. The solution provides an airtight cabinet with the VMRs being mounted up to 250 mm inside the cabinet.

Fill the cut-outs of your 800 mm airflow management package with blind plates if no cables need to go through. If cables do need to be guided through, you can choose the cable entry brush or take advantage of our innovative solution that uses foam.

The side plate frame seals the area between height post and the side skirt (800mm wide cabinets) or the Vertical Mounting Rail (600mm wide cabinet).

Front panel, Fix easy
The front panel is used for creating an airtight seal of the 19-inch surface. When this front panel was designed, the emphasis was on the ease of installation. The front panel can therefore be fitted in no time.

The plastic front panel serves to seal off the 19-inch area so that it is airtight. The front panel have been specially designed to make installation easy and to form an airtight 19-inch seal.

Side skirts 19-inch without cutouts
The side-skirt seals the area between the Vertical Mounting Rails and optionally the side plate frame. These side-skirts are the blind version that do not include any cut-outs. These would be used as the cost-effective alternative to the version with cut-outs.

Plinth front/rear
This front-rear sheet metal plinth adds an increased level of air tightness to the Nexpand cabinet. Recommended when leveling feet are in use to achieve the best airflow control and prevent airflow leakage.

Switching & routing inlet duct
For the 1U and 2U switches Minkels developed an inlet duct. The equipment will be installed at the rear of the rack and will receive cold air from the front of the rack (Cold Aisle).

Sealing set
This sealing set is intended for sealing the gaps between the side plates or side skirts of connected racks. Use of this set ensures that no cold air can leak through to the back of the rack. The sealing set is available in 47U and 52U.

Blind plate for side skirt
These cable entry accessories are to be placed in the side-skirts (part of the airflow package). With the side skirt cover plate the not used cut-outs can be sealed.
