DIRAK

BASIC

Basic can be integrated into an existing building management or access control system. Basic opens a rack by receiving a signal from an authorized user through the host system. In addition, a Basic handle can be linked to an HID Prox handle or a Mifare handle, where it will function as a ‘slave’. Depending on the entry status of the HID Prox handle or Mifare handle, the Basic will automatically open or close along with it. Advantages of this ‘master-slave’ combination are cost reduction and simplification of management and cabling.

HID

Complete entry control solutions at rack level in which handles, software and HID-cards are offered. For the authorization, built-in antenna with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology are used. The accompanying software can be installed centrally on a server and can communicate with all locks and corresponding equipment using the network (Ethernet). Handles available with TCP/IP Ethernet connection or RS485.

MIFARE

All previous HID versions working under a 125kHz frequency are now available with Mifare card technology, working under a more secure 13.56MHz frequency

*All options above require a control unit that Minkels installs in the 1st unit of the rack

HYBRID

This handle includes a dual antenna, so both frequencies, 125 kHz and 13.56MHz are compatible and can be used to communicate with the handle. This option does not require a control unit and can communicate directly with a Wiegand interface of a third-party device.

DIRAK ADMIN SUITE

Together with the rack safety concept, Minkels delivers the DIRAK Admin Suite, a software solution through which the intelligent rack safety solution can be managed. The software solution can be centrally installed on a server and can communicate with all locks and corresponding equipment through the network (Ethernet). Configuration and management of the solution – regarding users, the authorization policy, the handles, the cards and corresponding peripheral devices - can be centrally managed through the software solution.

MLR 3000 and 5000 versions must use the DIRAK Admin suite.
